Periodically, there are questions on the mailing list about HVM (VT) compatible notebook (laptop) PCs. I'm hoping to collect a single list. Please add to the following list of HVM compatible notebook PCs.
Not all notebook PCs with HVM compatible CPUs support HVM. Some companies don't enable this option at all, others make it possible to enable it in the BIOS menu. For example, the following thread suggests that HP doesn't enable HVM (Virtualization Technology) on any of its (HP or Compaq) notebook systems. http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1051601
* UPDATE - Most/All of the HP Commercial/Business oriented laptops have updated bioses available for download that include a VT enable/disable option in the bios, in addition to other Vista bios fixes. If you feel like wasting an hour reading the post, by all means. Otherwise, search for your model with CTRL-F in your browser, while on the page.
Please indicate the source of information - whether you have personal experience with the notebook, have been told of support from the selling company, or have just heard from friends / colleagues.

HVM enable from BIOS Menu |
I've heard from Dell support that their laptops with HVM capable CPUs all allow users to enable HVM in the BIOS menu. It seems to jive with the systems I was able to reboot (to check the BIOS) at a Dell direct store.
All AMD notebooks with the mobile processor "AMD Turion 64 X2" have AMD Virtualization (SVM), but do not advertise it. Use this link to find laptops that are being sold with the "AMD Turion 64 X2" processor: http://shop.amd.com/us-en/platforms/2.aspx
